The road to WrestleMania 41 is becoming unpredictable by the day. That was the case on the RAW after the Elimination Chamber 2025 Premium Live Event this week. Rhea Ripley defended her WWE Women’s World title against the high-flying IYO Sky this Monday. And in a shocking turn of events, IYO Sky dethroned “Mami” and has punched her ticket to April’s event.

This also meant that IYO Sky took Ripley’s WrestleMania match spot against Bianca Belair, who won the 2025 Women’s Elimination Chamber this past weekend. Following her title loss, there has been an update on Ripley’s plans at The Show of Shows this year.
What are the reported plans for Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 41?
According to WrestleVotes during Sportskeeda.com’s Backstage Pass Q&A, there are reportedly plans in place to have a triple threat match for the WWE Women’s World Championship between Belair, Sky and Ripley. Moreover, the report also added that this change could be a high possibility if the fans are not captivated enough by the rivalry of IYO Sky and Bianca Belair heading into the April card.
“That’s what I heard today. Fully expect for that match to turn into a triple threat match by the time we get to Las Vegas,” Wrestle Votes said. “That’s what I was told. If the spice isn’t there between Bianca and IYO, don’t worry, it’s going to shape out to be a little different.”
Rhea Ripley won the WWE Women’s World Championship from her arch-rival, Liv Morgan, on the debut episode of RAW on Netflix. However, her title reign came to an end at the hands of IYO Sky in only 56 days. With reports hinting at Mami being included in the WrestleMania 41 match, it remains to be seen if that becomes a reality as the road to WrestleMania progresses.
