A new report has offered a huge update on when Malakai Black and Miro could make their long-rumored returns to WWE.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that not one, but three different stars from AEW were leaving the company. Former trios champion Malakai Black completed his contract and did not intend to re-sign. While one-time AEW tag champion Ricky Starks and Miro reportedly got the releases they had allegedly wanted for months.

The news created speculation that all three could be making the jump to WWE eventually. However, Starks shocked wrestling fans on Tuesday when he made his debut for the company with NXT. It has left many wondering could Malakai Black and Miro be close behind. Well, we received an update regarding that possibility on Friday.

In a new edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer claimed the pair of former WWE stars “will also be in WWE very soon.” However, he added another interesting nugget of intel that backs up the idea they could be on Raw, Smackdown, or NXT very soon.

“Those in WWE had said creative had been talking about Black and Miro,” Meltzer wrote.

The company could easily hold off on bringing in the men once known to WWE fans as Aleister Black and Rusev until after WrestleMania 41. However, it seems the company may be looking at bolstering April’s cards with the veteran wrestlers.
