New Report Gives Major Update On Triple H Return Rumors After Saturday Night’s Main Event Altercation

WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event 2024 ended in a chaotic fashion as the fans got to see WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque get into a physical altercation with Kevin Owens. This came after Owens’ main event match with Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Title, where he lost in a controversial finish.

Following the match, Kevin Owens took out his frustrations about The American Nightmare with a brutal attack. This led to Cody Rhodes being taken out of the arena on a stretcher and reportedly suffering multiple injuries from the assault by The Prize Fighter.

According to Dr Chris Featherstone of Sportskeeda on his X, Triple H’s physical altercation with Kevin Owens was only to elevate his status as a heel in his ongoing feud with Cody Rhodes. Furthermore, he stated that their rivalry would continue and that there were no plans for Triple H to return to in-ring action.

Triple H has etched his place in history as one of the biggest WWE superstars of all time. The 14-time WWE Champion retired in 2022. This came after Triple H dealt with serious heart issues and revealed that he would never be cleared to return to in-ring action. The Game famously left his wrestling boots in the middle of the ring at WrestleMania 38 to cement his retirement.

Moreover, there are no reports on Triple H’s health at the moment as well. But it seems that he is content with running things behind the scenes as Chief Content Officer. Elsewhere, as Featherstone’s tweet stated, the feud between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens is set to continue. So, we will have to wait and see if this could mean another blockbuster match between the duo. With RAW’s huge debut on Netflix coming up, it could be the perfect stage to settle this rivalry.
