The Undertaker Speaks Out On Rumors Of Joining WWE Creative Team: ‘I’ve Always Had An Interest’

Earlier this week, rumors began to circulate that WWE legend The Undertaker could soon become a member of their creative team. For the first time, the wrestling icon has weighed in on whether that is a real possibility.

“Yeah, I’ve always kind of had an interest,” the WWE icon told WrestleStar this week. “It’s just a matter of making it work with my schedule and the other things that I have going on. Because, the ask for something like that is really big. And I would have to be 100% committed to be part of that, right? You have to be involved in all of these creative meetings and all of this other stuff.”

“If we can figure out a way to make that happen…obviously, [being] in Texas, you know, I would definitely entertain it. If there’s something that I could do to make our product better, help talent, then I’m on board for that.”

WWE’s current head of creative, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, has installed several of his long-time friends into prominent roles in the creative department. Including Shawn Michaels overseeing NXT. As well as William Regal and Brian “Road Dogg” James working on the main roster creative teams.

Triple H has always talked about the deep respect he has for The Undertaker, in and out of the ring. He is one of WWE’s greatest locker room leaders. Has been in many legendary and unique matches. And he is behind one of the greatest gimmicks in wrestling history. So, it should not come as a surprise that the head of creative wants to make use of his deep knowledge.

While it remains to be seen if he will actually become a notable part of the team, even in a part-time role, he would be a valuable asset to WWE’s creative process for years to come.
