An interesting new report claims WWE icon The Undertaker could be expanding his role with the company as a member of their creative team.
“I think that Undertaker wants to get into creative. He likes it a lot, and he was in creative at Money in the Bank,” former WCW great Konnan claimed on his “Keepin’ it 100” YouTube channel. “I think he’s very interested in being part of the creative team. He’d do well, bro, I’ve listened to some of his thoughts.”

Konnan certainly has some unique insight as a current member of AAA’s booking team. Since that event happened hours before Money in the Bank, it is likely he was backstage at the WWE premium live event as well. And saw The Undertaker helping out backstage.
WWE’s current head of creative, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, has installed several of his long-time friends into prominent roles in the creative department. Including Shawn Michaels overseeing NXT. As well as William Regal and Brian “Road Dogg” James working on the main roster creative teams.

Triple H has always talked about the deep respect he has for The Undertaker, in and out of the ring. He is one of WWE’s greatest locker room leaders. Has been in many legendary and unique matches. And he is behind one of the greatest gimmicks in wrestling history. So, it should not come as a surprise that the head of creative wants to make use of his deep knowledge.
However, what makes the news fascinating is that The Undertaker seemed fine with a life where he made occasional appearances and didn’t have to be on the road. He has also suggested in the past that being near the product without competing was often tough for him. This seems to indicate a major pivot in his thinking.
If he did take on a bigger role with WWE, it would be a great addition not only on a creative level but also in keeping morale strong in the locker room.
