Some interesting posts on X open the door to Cardi B getting physical at SummerSlam this weekend, and potentially with women’s division legend Bayley.
SummerSlam goes down this weekend with a two-night extravaganza that will be hosted by hip hop superstar Cardi B. However, she actually won’t be there both evenings. According to Wrestle Votes, the one-time Grammy Award winner will only be in attendance on Night 1 of the event.
Obviously, the rapper was likely too expensive to bring in for both nights. So what will the company do to maximize the minutes they have her at the show? In the lead-up to the event, she has had some interactions with WWE head of creative, Paul “Triple” Levesque. And he even suggested maybe someone “steps” to her at the event.
Well, it seems one WWE star in particular was intrigued by the possibility. And raised her hand as someone who could test the toughness of the music star.
“I’m free,” the multi-time women’s champion wrote. Which received an eye roll emoji and a “leave her at home” response. Will the two clash now that we are just hours away from the event? It is unlikely, considering Bayley is considered a babyface and hasn’t made a hinted switch to being a heel again yet.
However, it is very possible someone like Chelsea Green could get the opportunity to interact with Cardi B during an in-ring segment at SummerSlam.
