John Cena shocked the world with just one action at the 2025 WWE Elimination Chamber PLE. After Cody Rhodes berated The Rock, Cena, on the signal of “The Final Boss” hit him with a low-blowed him and revealed a turn to the dark side. Cena, Rock, and Travis Scott followed it up with a huge beatdown on the “American Nightmare.”
The trio left Rhodes covered in his own blood as John Cena turned heel for the first time in two decades. Since that night, Cena has not been seen on WWE television. But the wait will finally be over as the 16-time WWE Champion is set to return on Monday Night RAW in Belgium today.
Some new reports have emerged on what WWE fans could see when an evil version of Cena finally returns to television.

What is the reported plan for John Cena’s return to WWE RAW?
In a recent edition of the Fightful Select podcast, Sean Ross Sapp was questioned about plans for John Cena’s new presentation upon returning to RAW in Belgium. Sapp revealed that WWE was keeping everything close to the vest and did not reveal anything when asked.
“Sapp stated, “They are playing it close to the vest, as they should. “It’s a major attraction point to tune in. I’ve been asking about his theme, I’ve been asking about everything,” Sapp said.
On the other hand, Billi Bhatti of The Wrestling Informer podcast revealed an idea pitched for John Cena’s segment on Monday Night RAW. Bhatti stated that it might feature Cena’s longtime friend, R-Truth who would create a comedic moment. But instead, Cena would launch a brutal attack on him.
“If Cena destroys R-Truth to the point where we even get some color, it would put significant heat on him,” said Bhatti.
