Report Reveals New Date And Location For Long-Rumored WWE Evolution 2 Event

A new report reveals July plans for a long-rumored second WWE Evolution event.

At the start of the year, there had been major rumors about the return of WWE Evolution, the all-women’s event that took place in 2018. Initially, it was reported by WrestleVotes that the second edition of the show will take place at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut on July 5.

This has been the reported timeline since March 2025. However, a new report by PWInsider Elite reports that WWE is planning to host Evolution 2 on the weekend of July 12 in Atlanta. According to them, WWE wants to coincide the all-women’s event with an edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event on the same weekend.

This would make WWE Evolution 2 a part of their stacked festivities during that timeline. As rumors grew, WWE superstars and industry insiders have been giving their side of the story regarding the historic event.

Fourteen-time Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair stated in an interview that she had also heard the rumblings about the event, but had no clarity. “I really don’t know [but] I hope it does. I hear all these rumors. It’s been a couple of years, so I think it would be a good time to [do it],” she said last month.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful also confirmed Charlotte’s statement that WWE had not told anything to the locker room regarding the rumored WWE Evolution 2 event.

“So Evolution, it’s something I’ve been following up on a lot. Talent that I have talked to don’t know about it. I haven’t heard about it, so working on it as we speak,” Sapp said, casting doubt on how locked-in these plans actually are,” said Sapp in a recent Fightful Select Q&A.
