New Update Hints at Cody Rhodes Making WWE Return Early In June

Cody Rhodes has been absent from WWE television programming since WrestleMania 41. However, a new advertisement suggests the former champ could be back next month at Money in the Bank.

WWE is advertising Cody Rhodes for its June 7 Premium Live Event, Money in the Bank. The massive event is set to take place at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. The company has been including him in all promotional materials, seemingly confirming his presence for the show. Whether he would wrestle at the event is unclear at the moment.

The flagship WWE star was last seen at WrestleMania 41. He defended his Undisputed WWE Championship against the winner of the 2025 Men’s Elimination Chamber, John Cena. The WWE legend enlisted Travis Scott’s help and was able to score a record-breaking 17th world title win. Rhodes has been MIA since then.

Rhodes has also been advertised for the May 16 edition of Friday Night SmackDown in Greensboro, NC. However, it is worth noting that Cody Rhodes had been pulled from some scheduled appearances after WrestleMania 41. So WWE could still change its plans moving forward.

As for his feud against Cena, it seems far from over after the new champ used underhanded tactics to end Rhodes’ impressive 378-day reign as champion.
