The “Five Feet of Fury” superstar has been a cornerstone for the women’s division for years. She is a former muli-time WWE Women’s Champion. Moreover, Bliss has been a captivating character for the audience, especially during her alliance with Bray Wyatt.

She left WWE in 2023 due to her real-life pregnancy and has not returned since. However, there were reports of Alexa Bliss returning to RAW a few weeks back. However, after those plans were shockingly changed rumors spread that an attempt to land a new contract was the reason why.
Did Alexa Bliss want a better deal than her previous WWE contract?

Following numerous discussions, PWInsider confirmed that it was indeed a contractual issue between both sides. The former RAW Women’s Champion was seeking a better deal, but WWE expected her to come back under her existing contract.
The report further stated that Alexa Bliss was scheduled to return on the January 13th edition of WWE RAW. This comeback would then lead to being a regular on the red brand. Furthermore, the outlet was told by numerous sources that Alexa’s representatives reached out to WWE for a better deal just before her return.
However, WWE refused their attempt and froze all creative plans for Bliss’ return. Since then, both sides have been at loggerheads with each other. This was also speculated to be the reason The Wyatt Sicks were shifted to SmackDown. Following the report, Alexa removed all WWE references from her social media profiles.
Bliss last competed at the 2023 Royal Rumble event in a women’s title match against then-champion Bianca Belair.
