WWE Rumors: Multiple AEW Stars Could Be Closing In On Jump To WWE Soon

WWE has been signing major AEW talent over the last year. Top names such as Mariah May, Ricky Saints, and Aleister Black made the move in 2025. And it looks like four more of their former co-workers could be joining them this year.

In a new report from Bodyslam.net, several AEW stars’ contracts will be expiring at the end of the year. And three in particular are reportedly high on WWE’s wish list.

“Bodyslam has learned that WWE has major interest in both Danhausen and Private Party as their deals are believed to be up imminently,” the outlet reported.

Former tag champs Private Party have not been seen on television since dropping the AEW Tag belts to Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin. As for Danhausen, his last match took place at the 2023 Worlds End pay-per-view show.

Britt Baker could be making jump to WWE soon?

Furthermore, another report by Bodyslam.net stated that top AEW female star, Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D., is looking to leave the promotion this summer. “Sources have confirmed that Britt Baker is actively seeking to part ways with AEW.”

The former AEW Women’s World Champion was last seen in a match against Penelope Ford in November 2024. Various reports have claimed tensions with fellow members of the roster and that she did not have a good reputation backstage.

Moreover, Baker’s contract reportedly still had one year left after she signed a five-year deal in 2021. However, there was a clause for added time related to injuries. The only way for Baker to get her freedom would be if Tony Khan and the management chose to release her.

Earlier this year, rumors suggested WWE would jump at the chance to add Baker whenever she became available.
