A new report has added to the speculation that something major could happen in Saturday’s WWE Bad Blood main event.
We are just a couple of days away from WWE’s latest premium live event, Bad Blood. The event inside State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia offers an interesting card with some notable matches. Both Liv Morgan and Nia Jax will defend their titles, and best friends Damian Priest and Finn Balor will go to war.

However, two non-title matches are the anchors of the event. At Bad Blood, the bitter feud between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre will end inside Hell in a Cell. While WWE champ Cody Rhodes will tag with long-time rival Roman Reigns against The Bloodline.
There has been some debate about what will be the evening’s main event. The tag match has the two biggest stars in the company, but the HIAC clash ends the best feud of 2024. On Wednesday, it was revealed that “the big guy” was expected to return this weekend. That is likely The Rock, which added fuel to speculation the tag match will close the show.
CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre will not main event WWE Bad Blood on Saturday
Well, on Thursday PW Nexus revealed that the HIAC is expected to open Bad Blood while Reigns and Rhodes will be in the main event. Here is the rumored bout order for Saturday.
- CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre
- Bayley vs. Nia Jax
- Damian Priest vs. Finn Balor
- Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley
- Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes vs. The Bloodline
Rhodes also claimed during an appearance on ” The Pat McAfee” show that a video package will air during Bad Blood and reveal “big title implications for Crown Jewel.” Crown Jewel goes down in Saudi Arabia on Nov. 4.
The HIAC match is the bigger and better match. However, since it will not close the show, it seems to confirm something major is likely planned for the conclusion of Bad Blood this weekend.
