A huge new report suggests that WWE management may have given up on trying to work superstar rapper Travis Scott into future storylines.
“He doesn’t like to commit to anything. He goes half-in and tries other projects at the same time,” the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported about Scott this week. “And since he’s a personal client of [TKO boss Ari Emanuel], everyone tried to accommodate until it just became too much to deal with.”
The news comes just days after a recent report that the hip-hop artist was “not a quick learner for the business.” And that his training for a rumored match in a WWE ring was not going well. Rumors in June suggested he would appear at Money in the Bank to set up an eventual match later this year. Potentially at SummerSlam.

However, as fans know, Scott has not been seen since a bizarre appearance at WrestleMania 41 to help John Cena defeat Cody Rhodes to win his record 17th world title. The music mega star became an unexpected part of WWE storytelling earlier this year. When he accompanied The Rock to the ring at the conclusion of Elimination Chamber.
Scott ended up being a part of John Cena’s stunning heel turn. And involved in a beatdown of Rhodes to end the premium live event. It is unclear when or if he will appear in a WWE ring again.
His involvement in major storylines has annoyed a large segment of the company’s fan base. The heavy use of celebrities has received some backlash. However, quite a few fans are likely to be thrilled with the idea of Scott not doing anything with the company for a while.
