Liv Morgan will be sidelined from WWE due to a part in a major Hollywood project. And a new rumor claims one half of the tag team champions will only be gone for a few weeks.
The multi-time women’s champion revealed last week on RAW about bagging a role in a major upcoming film. Well, according to Deadline, she will star in the film Bad Lieutenant alongside an ensemble cast of actors like Lily James and Shun Oguri.
According to PW Insider, Morgan is expected to miss several weeks of WWE TV programming. Some films could require an actor to be involved for a couple of months. So just a few weeks isn’t too long a time that she will be away from the company.
Following up on that report, Bryan Alvarez on the Wrestling Observer Radio added, “Liv Morgan has gotten a role in Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo, which is going to be, allegedly, beginning production in Tokyo next month.

“Although the impression I got was that she’s out of here, and that’s why they shot the angle on Monday. I think she’s heading over this week, and she’s gonna be one of the stars in the film.”
Liv Morgan’s new Hollywood project is said to be a thriller directed by renowned filmmaker Takeshi Mike. It is said to be distributed by Neon, the company behind Oscar-winner Anora. The film would see Liv Morgan play the daughter of a missing politician.
The Judgment Day member is coming off a huge week. She competed in a major tag team match at WrestleMania 41, and although Morgan and her partner, Raquel Rodriguez, lost their tag team titles to Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch at the show, the duo won the belts back on the RAW after WrestleMania 41.
