Following rumors Judgement Day might soon be rebranded by WWE, a new report claims fan outcry has changed those plans.
While the Bloodline saga on Smackdown has been one of the best ongoing storylines in WWE, the Judgement Day faction on Raw has been just as entertaining. The group has gone through several evolutions over the last year and went through a major one at SummerSlam.

After the majority of the group betrayed Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley at this year’s event, big changes were set for the faction. And earlier this week there were rumors that they could rebrand their name and soon be known as “Street Trash.”
Well, not so fast. The same X account that revealed the potential name change, Wrestle Votes, reported the company had shifted strategy after the fan outcry to the rumored name.
Finn Balor reportedly came up with idea to change Judgement Day name to Street Trash
“Looks like they heard the outcry! Source claims the name Judgment Day will remain, however, the slogan ‘Street Trash’ will be incorporated within the group’s gimmick,” the account wrote. “The ‘Street Trash’ idea came directly from Finn Balor, with merchandising concepts already completed and approved.”
Although the pivot may disappoint the former WWE champion and most-tenured member of the current Judgement Day, it is nice to see that the promotion listened to their fans and their dissatisfaction with the rumored name.
The “Street Trash” nickname comes from the recent feud between Priest and new World Heavyweight Champion Gunther. After the “Ring General” referred to him as that during the leadup to their SummerSlam match.
