John Cena vs. Logan Paul looking like a near-lock for 2025 WWE retirement tour
However, on Thursday night, Wrestle Votes revealed on their Backstage Pass Patreon page that John Cena vs. Logan Paul is a near lock to happen in 2025. The outlet reports that both sides of the equation are “100% interested in that potential big money match.”
There were rumors before Wrestlemania 39 last year that a match between Paul and Cena was being seriously considered. However, a lack of adequate preparation time sunk the booking and instead WWE pivoted to a match between the wrestling legend and Austin Theory.
John Cena is allegedly targeting a WWE schedule with 36 dates for his retirement tour next year.
