Jade Cargill has become a rising name in WWE. The Storm has had a successful run so far as a cornerstone of the women’s division. This may lead to Cargill touching even greater heights in the global juggernaut than before.
According to a recent update by PW Insider, Jade Cargill is slated for a massive push. Moreover, her rumored opponent for the upcoming all-women’s WWE Premium Live Event, Evolution 2, is her heated rival, Naomi. Setting up yet another chapter in their heated rivalry.
Cargill rose to prominence in the wrestling world for her stint in All Elite Wrestling that lasted until 2023. In that same year, the former AEW TBS Champion signed a deal with WWE. She made her debut in the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble match, which had an immediate huge impact.
Following an impressive start, Cargill aligned herself with Naomi and Bianca Belair. This led to Belair and Cargill also becoming the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions on two separate occasions. However, her second reign came to a halt when she was mysteriously attacked backstage on SmackDown in November 2024.
Months later, Jade Cargill made her return at the 2025 WWE Elimination Chamber PLE and ignited a feud with Naomi, who was revealed to be the attacker.
The two SmackDown stars met in a colossal clash at WrestleMania 41. They delivered an intense showdown, and Cargill emerged victorious in the bout. Since that match, The Storm has been trying to shift her focus to the Women’s Championship picture and the Money in the Bank event. However, she failed to complete either of those jobs, with Naomi playing a significant role.
