It seems that some in the WWE women’s division are not happy with the level of WrestleMania 41 planning for their side of the roster.
WWE made a huge change in the women’s division back when the #GiveDivasaChance trended worldwide. That led to the start of the Women’s Revolution which opened doors for women to get significant opportunities. Such as getting top spots, ample TV time, and even main-eventing WrestleMania in the following years.

However, things look to be pretty different in the current locker room. While many women are still getting top opportunities and significant spots on WWE television, a vast majority have a completely different perception. During a recent appearance on The Hump podcast, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com offered a surprising opinion of some in the women’s division about WWE’s planning for the road to Wrestlemania 41.
Is frustration growing in WWE women’s locker room ahead of WrestleMania 41?

“Somebody asked about women’s booking, and I said, yes, I have spoken with plenty of women in WWE who are frustrated about the booking of the women,” Sapp said. “This is not a new thing. It’s nowhere near Royal Rumble 2022 level. Royal Rumble 2022 was so bad that I developed sources because of how badly it was booked.
“This is nowhere near that but there has been a situation where a women’s WWE performer has reached out to me and said, ‘Dude, can you find out if I’m listed internally as a heel or babyface?’ And I’m like, ‘Damn, okay.”
Furthermore, many members of the WWE women’s division have rejected tag team match pitches for WrestleMania 41. There have also been discussions about contracts coming up, TV time for women, adding extra titles, and more. Lastly, Sapp gave an example of Natalya — who re-signed last summer. She has had no significant storylines and onscreen time despite creative plans reportedly being set for her since then.
“I know there have been some Mania pitches that have been rejected because people are like token tag matches aren’t something that they want to do,” Sapp said. “They want things put on a more even plane in the women’s division. Okay, well, the contracts are going up, and viewership is adjusted accordingly for when women are on-screen.
“… For example, I’m not going to say Natalya is frustrated. They signed Natalya. They wanted to keep Natalya, and they had creative plans for Natalya. And then what’s Natalya done since then? Hasn’t done anything, hasn’t been on NXT, hasn’t been doing anything,” he added.
With the morale of the WWE women’s division reportedly not looking good in the WrestleMania season, it will be interesting to see if Triple H and his regime could flip the dynamics heading into The Show of Shows.
