Finn Balor In For Major Push Soon? Major Backstage Report Emerges

It seems that Finn Balor becoming a part of the World Heavyweight Title picture is no coincidence and it will be part of a big push behind the Judgement Day member.

It may surprise some, but next year will mark 10 years in the WWE system for one-time Universal Champion Finn Balor. In 2015, the man who made a name for himself as Prince Devitt in NJPW took his talents to America and joined NXT. His tenure in the gold-and-black helped to kick off a peak period for NXT.

However, his run on the main roster has not been nearly as impactful. While Balor has had a lot of success on the WWE roster, there have also been many points where he lacked direction in his creative. And seemed to be heading toward eventually moving on to a rival promotion like AEW.

However, once Paul “Triple H” Levesque took over the creative side of the company in 2022, Balor’s importance to the company has grown exponentially. He may not be competing for world titles, but he has been a fixture on WWE Raw for the last two years as a core member of Judgement Day.

With Finn Balor set to celebrate his 10th year in WWE in 2025, a new rumors claims the Irish legend could soon be getting a major push from the company.

Finn Balor has reportedly become a WWE locker room leader

“As we approach the 10-year anniversary of Finn Balor in WWE, sources tell us he’s solidified himself as a true locker room leader over the past year or so,” Wrestle Votes reported on Thursday. “In addition, we are told to expect a sustained singles push for Finn as we head into 2025.”

Balor injected himself into the World Heavyweight title picture this weekend when he cost former pal Damian Priest a win in his match against Gunther at Survivor Series. He then challenged the champ to a title bout on Monday’s Raw. It was followed up with a vicious attack after Gunther defeated his Judgement Day brother Dominik Mysterio. It earned him a title match at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Finn Balor’s long world title drought was a key part of his spring feud with former World Heavyweight champ Seth Rollins. He reportedly signed a new long-term contract earlier this year.
