Wrestling fans have been wondering if former NJPW star Hikuleo will ever make his WWE debut. Well, a new rumor points to when that overdue moment should finally happen.
There has been no bigger story in professional wrestling during this decade than the Bloodline saga. It all started when Roman Reigns made his return during the pandemic and shockingly aligned himself with Paul Heyman. Then he started to pull some relatives into his ongoing story.
First, it was Jey Uso as he feuded with Reigns, and then became his right-hand man. Jimmy Uso did the same before aligning with his brother and cousin. That was the status quo for a while before 2022 saw the faction grow bigger with the inclusion of the Uso’s brother, Solo Sikoa, and then honorary Use Sami Zayn.
The expansion continued in 2024 as Sikoa took control of the group in Reigns’ absence and added Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, followed by the “Samoan Werewolf,” Jacob Fatu. However, there was supposed to be another relative that was expected to join the family civil war storyline, Hikuleo. Yet, months went by, and the big man never arrived.
But that could change soon.
Hikuleo likely to make WWE in May or June?
“Don’t know when, probably after the reset,” wrestling business insider WrestleVotes claimed on a recent Sportskeeda Q and A podcast. “You know, once WrestleMania comes and goes, I think the rosters will look a little different. All three brands. So, I could see Hikuleo showing up on NXT.
“I don’t know, maybe May or June. But when he does, whenever that is, expect a big push. They like this guy. He’s big. He’s tall. He knows what he’s doing. He’s got a family background. I’d expect a decent push when he shows up.”
The NJPW veteran and Bullet Club alum reportedly signed his WWE deal nearly a year ago. Yet, the company could not find the right debut point for the 6-foot-8 performer. It looks like his long wait will end, but instead of joining his relatives on the main roster, he could end up becoming a new monster in the black-and-gold brand.
