The world of professional wrestling has often seen male and female superstars form true bonds of love. Many of them often led to those superstars officially tying the knot. However, among them, there have been number of occasion which has seen those marriages come to an end.
In recent memory, it seems that the 14-time WWE Women’s Champion, Charlotte Flair, is the latest name to this list. The Queen just made her return to WWE at the Royal Rumble 2025 event after being absent for a year due to a knee injury. She did make the headlines following her remarkable win in the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble match.
Just as Charlotte was about to bask in the glory of her second Royal Rumble win, everything turned upside down. A recent update has suggested that her marriage came to an end months before her monumental comeback.
Has Charlotte Flair’s third marriage also come to an end?
According to the court documents obtained by TMZ.com, Charlotte Flair filed for separation from her husband and current SmackDown star, Andrade El Idolo. She filed the papers in June 2024. Following that, a court judge reportedly passed their plea for divorce in October, a month after The Queen filed for separation.
As of now, it remains unclear if the documents provide the reason for the separation of the WWE power couple. However, a follow-up report by Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com confirmed that it was indeed The Queen who “initiated the proceedings.”
Charlotte Flair and Andrade El Idolo’s relationship came into the public eye in 2019. The couple got engaged in 2020 and had a grand wedding celebration in 2022 in Mexico. They were often spotted together displaying public affection, so it comes as a surprise about the report of Flair separating from her husband.
Moreover, this is Charlotte Flair’s third divorce after her last two marriages failed. With the headlines of her latest separations making rounds, it remains to be seen if Charlotte or Andrade would issue a statement on the same.
