An interesting new WWE rumor may have revealed who Becky Lynch will be feuding with once she makes her long-awaited return to WWE Raw on Netflix.
It has been nearly eight months since wrestling fans have seen multi-time WWE women’s champion, Becky Lynch. Following a feud with current champion Liv Morgan, the “Lass Kicker” took a lengthy hiatus from the company after the two sides could not agree to terms on a new contract.

While there was some speculation that she could appear in a rival promotion like AEW, it became clear over the summer that whenever Lynch returned to action it would be with WWE. In the fall, there were rumblings that the women’s wrestling legend was expected to be a part of the company’s launch of WWE Raw on Netflix.
Over the last few weeks, there have been various signs pointing to her imminent return, and her appearance in the new hype video for the Jan. 6 edition of Monday Night Raw confirmed she had signed a new contract. But when she is back in the ring, who could she be feuding with? That may have been revealed on Saturday.
Becky Lynch to feud with Rhea Ripley following WWE return?
Over the weekend, Wrestle Purists reporter Ibou claimed in a post on X to “Expect a Becky Lynch vs Rhea Ripley rematch very soon.”
The two faced off on night one of WrestleMania 40 in April. Ripley entered the event as the women’s world champion and successfully defended her title against Lynch. The two did not have a rematch due to Ripley suffering a serious shoulder injury a few weeks after ‘Mania 40.
It is unlikely WWE would go with a Lynch vs. Ripley rematch so soon unless the world title was on the line. It may indicate that Ripley will be bringing Morgan’s long title reign to an end in their championship match on Monday’s WWE Raw debut on Netflix.
