It looks like Becky Lynch will be facing a WWE Hall of Famer in her next Intercontinental title feud.
Nikki Bella’s return to WWE has been well appreciated by fans. “The Fearless One” has competed in multiple bouts so far in 2025, but now it has been reported that Bella is slated for a huge program following the 2025 edition of SummerSlam.
According to Cory Hays of BodySlam.net, Nikki Bella is set to begin a feud with “The Man,” Becky Lynch, over the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship next. The program is reported to begin on the SummerSlam fallout episode of Monday Night RAW tonight.
At the first-ever two-night show, Becky Lynch defended her WWE Women’s Intercontinental title against her heated foe, Lyra Valkyria. The match was contested under no-disqualification rules. Both women inflicted major damage on each other with the use of foreign objects. It also saw the interference of Bayley, who accidentally cost Valkyria the match and her chance to regain the title.
As per the stipulation, Valkyria can no longer challenge Becky Lynch for the Intercontinental title. This paves the way for Lynch to explore more feuds as the champion, with Bella being a top name. The duo has never engaged in a singles feud. At the time when Lynch was coming up on the main roster, Bella was the top champion and near the end of her full-time WWE run.
After Bella became an occasional wrestler, the WWE Universe witnessed the rise of Lynch as one of the biggest stars of the modern era. Since then, The Man has stayed at the top of the women’s division. Moreover, Bella’s feud with Lynch could be an exciting program to witness. Since her return, Bella has yet to have a major program in the company.
