New Rumor Suggests Another Major WWE Star Could Soon Be Removed From WrestleMania 41 Card

A new WWE rumor suggests that Kevin Owens may not be the only major star that could soon be pulled from WrestleMania 41.

Drew McIntyre was one of WWE’s top draws in 2024. His epic rivalry with CM Punk became a center point of the year in terms of storyline. He has been involved in a heated feud with Damian Priest heading into WWE’s biggest show of the year, WrestleMania 41. However, there is a chance that McIntyre might have to sit out due to recent events.

According to WrestleVotes Wrestle Votes, the final card for ‘Mania 41 will include 14 matches.. While McIntyre is penciled in for a match against Priest on the card, his recent eye injury is still not fully healed.

Could eye injury for Drew McIntyre off WrestleMania 41 card?

“Sources indicate, at this time, the final WrestleMania card looks to shape out at 14 matches. With the following contests still to be announced: Randy Orton vs. TBD, as well as a discussed tag title match involving The New Day & War Raiders.

“Obviously things can change. Including the availability of Drew McIntyre. Who’s dealing with a legit eye injury, but as we stand 9 days out, this looks like the final direction.”

The rivalry began last year at WrestleMania 40 when Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to win the World title from McIntyre. The duo squared off on a few occasions and have been butting heads ever since the road to WrestleMania 41.

Last week on SmackDown, Priest and McIntyre were involved in a backstage brawl. This included Priest chokeslamming is foe on top of a car. Which allegedly led to a piece of glass going into McIntyre’s eye. Despite that, GM Nick Aldis made their match official for WrestleMania 41.
