On the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed details leading up to Alexa Bliss’ return. He was told that it was a late negotiation. However, he dismissed the theory. Believing that WWE was pulling a fast one on fans to make her Royal Rumble return a bigger surprise.

Furthermore, he also added that even WWE office staff and higher-ups were kept in the dark about the former RAW Women’s Champion making her return. “It was people in the office they fooled too, and high-up,” said Meltzer.

Alexa Bliss entered the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble match at #21 to a huge ovation from fans in Lucas Oil Stadium. However, she did not score any eliminations and lasted 11 minutes in the match before being eliminated by Liv Morgan.

With Little Miss Bliss back in the mix, it will be interesting to see how she would book on the road to WrestleMania 41.
