Best Match
The best in-ring showdown for the night on WWE SmackDown has to be the WWE Women’s Championship match between Tiffany Stratton and Nia Jax. The match saw Nia Jax’s raw power combat against the athleticism of Stratton in a highly captivating bout that thrilled the audience to their feet.
The match also saw Jax dominate Tiffany, but she showed resilience and came back strong each time and survived multiple near falls. While the ending will be questionable, it also saw the involvement of WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus, who was in attendance for the show and came to Stratton’s aid.
Lastly, the ending of the match saw Charlotte Flair come down to the ring. She announced to the world, and a fallen Tiffany Statton was in the ring, that she would be competing against her for the WWE Women’s title at WrestleMania 41. The entire production, angles, and captivating moments from start to end made it the best bout of the evening.
Worst Match

The tag team showdown between the Motor City Machine Guns and Los Garza (Angel & Berto) was a lackluster bout. Despite MCMG displaying exceptional tag team athleticism, the fans were just not into the bout and saw it as more of a popcorn break match.
Noteworthy Moments
As mentioned, WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus was in attendance and got involved at the end of the WWE Women’s title match. After that, she caught with Tiffany Stratton and offered to team up with her to battle Nia Jax and Candice LeRae at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 event, taking place in her hometown of Toronto, Canada.
Another noteworthy moment took place in the opening segment of the show. Cody Rhodes addressed the Men’s Elimination Chamber match that will decide his WrestleMania 41 opponent. He was confronted by Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu in a tense exchange of words, both calling their shots at his Undisputed WWE title.

Moreover, there was also a development in the Jade Cargill mystery attack case. GM Nick Aldis showed Bianca Belair and Naomi a video sent by an anonymous source. It showed Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez leaving the scene as Cargill was being loaded into the ambulance.
One more noteworthy moment was Kevin Ownes challenging Sami Zayn to a match in their home country of Canada for the WWE Elimination Chamber PLE after Zayn gave his health update following the attack by KO on RAW last week.
The last exciting thing to watch on this week’s WWE SmackDown was the main event. It was a meaty affair between Damien Priest, Jacob Fatu, and Braun Strowman. It was a stellar showdown, with the action spilling all over the ringside. However, it was a chaotic ending to the match. Solo Sikoa appeared out of nowhere to take out Strowman with a Samoan Spike to help Jacob Fatu. But there was a scuffle between him and Solo after Solo accidentally took out Tama Tonga. This led to Cody Rhodes appearing and taking Sikoa down with a Cross Rhodes. Amidst the chaos, Damien Pirest delivered a South of Haven chokeslam to Strowman and picked up the win to qualify for the Elimination Chamber match.
Holy Sh!@ Moments
A major shocking moment came at the start of the show. As Solo Sikoa was shown arriving in the arena, Cody Rhodes looked to confront him. But Jacob Fatu stopped him, saying that he would do it first, leading to a huge reaction from the audience. He then met him in the locker room and had a tense conversation with Solo Sikoa, hinting at their feud in the future.
Another Holy Sh!@ moment from this week’s WWE SmackDown came during a backstage segment. Alexa Bliss came up to talk with Nia Jax and Candice LeRae. As it was happening, another Wyatt Sicks glitch, like last week, happened on screen that showed a glimpse of a past segment, making it a major possibility that Bliss would join them.
Lowlights

Two matches were the lowlights of the night. The first one was the Women’s Elimination Chamber qualifier between Naomi and Chelsea Green. The match was slow-paced and not something the fans were into, but it had a good finish, with Noami picking up the win.
The other match was between R-Truth and Carmelo Hayes. It was more of a filler match on the card that came and ended before the fans could think about it in Hayes’ victory.
What’s in store for WWE SmackDown next week

After Pretty Deadly picked up a shocking non-title win against DIY last week, they will now challenge them next week for the WWE Tag Team Championships.
Elsewhere, tensions continued to build between Jimmy Uso and Drew McIntyre, which led to Uso super kicking McIntyre backstage after a scratching comment by him. This has setup a singles match between them on next week’s edition of WWE SmackDown.
