The last destination of WWE’s European Tour was the O2 Arena in London, England, which was the site of the March 31st, 2025, edition of WWE RAW. The biggest conversation on this week’s show was the heated war of words between John Cena and Cody Rhodes ahead of their WrestleMania 41 match.

Quick Results

Apart from that, the night featured some exciting matches, surprising moments, and a chaotic end to the main event that saw a dominant star stand tall as the show went off the air.

  • The New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston) defeated New Catch Republic (Tyler Bate & Pete Dunne).
  • Gunther defeated Jimmy Uso in a singles match.
  • Finn Balor & Dominik Mysterio defeated Penta and Bron Breakker.
  • Rhea Ripley vs IYO Sky with Bianca Belair as the Special Guest Referee for the WWE Women’s World Championship ended in Double Disqualification.

Best match

The best match candidate for WWE RAW in London had to be the main event of the show, pitting Rhea Ripley and IYO Sky. The fans were already excited about the addition of Bianca Belair, who had the power to influence her WrestleMania 41 match. Moreover, the match was nothing short of an instant classic, and it got huge reactions from the fans.

As the match came down to its final moments, Rhea accidentally took out Bianca and there was no referee to count the pinfall when she had IYO beat. The IYO Sky accidentally drops Bianca with a missile drop kick from the top. As Ripley began to execute a Riptide on IYO, Bianca called for the bell, ending the match in a Double DQ. Ripley loses it and destroys both IYO Sky and Bianca Belair to end the show.

Out of the four matches that took place, the less-than-good match was the opening contest of the night between New Day and New Catch Republic. Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne reunited after a long time. However, there was not much reaction from fans during the entire match, making it a not-so-good affair. Even New Day’s stare-off against current WWE World Tag Team Champions, The War Raiders, also did not build any excitement from the hint of a potential match.

Noteworthy moments

One of the biggest noteworthy moments was Gunther decimating The Uso physically and mentally. After he picked up a dominant win over Jimmy Uso, he launched a post-match assault on him and Jey Uso. Gunther tied Jey to the rope, and Jimmy was covered in blood. Gunther inflicted pain on Jimmy in front of a defenseless Jey, locking him in the sleeper and raising his World title while being covered in Jimmy’s blood.

Another interesting highlight of the night was the confrontation between Logan Paul and AJ Styles. There was a heated exchange between them after butting heads for weeks. The ending of the segment saw Logan Paul drop Styles with a Paulvirizer to stand tall. This led to Adam Pearce making it official that Paul and Styles will clash against each other at WrestleMania 41.

The last major highlight was the WWE Universe witnessing Penta’s three-month-long winning streak coming to an end. He teamed up with Bron Breakker to battle Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor in tag team action. In the final moments of the bout, Bron accidentally speared Penta, leading to Finn and Dom capitalizing for the win.

Holy Sh!@ Moments

The entire segment between John Cena and Cody Rhodes was a complete package of Holy Sh!@ Moments. Cody Rhodes began by mentioning list of shots Cena can take on him like his failed Stardust gimmick. Cena fired back with a fiery promo and addressed accusations that people put on him for years. Cena made it clear that he did not bury talent, he is talent and buried mediocrity. He did not even hesitant in saying that he built empires for billionaires while Cody Rhodes stole money from their kids.

In retaliation, Cody Rhodes made an indirect reference to Vince McMahon as the man who chose Cena, while the fans chose him. In the end, as Cena was leaving, Cody reminded him that fans never chanted ‘You Can’t Wrestle’ for him, infuriating Cena. The 16-time World Champion tried to take a cheap shot but Cody ducked and delivered a Cross Rhodes to stand tall.

Lowlights

Tyler Bate’s return to WWE RAW after a long time became a lowlight as fans did not react much to his return. Even the tag team match was not that impressive, being an evident lowlight of the night.

What’s in store for WWE RAW next week

WWE RAW will take place in Minneapolis, Minnesota, next week. El Grande Americano will return to action, and WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria will defend her title against Bayley. Lastly, the WWE Universe will see the return of The Visionary, Seth Rollins, on WWE RAW to address his upcoming WrestleMania 41 showdown with Roman Reigns and CM Punk that will close WrestleMania 41 Saturday.
