Best Match
The best match on WWE RAW this week is evident from the loud cheers that it received. It was the main event showdown between Cody Rhodes and “Main Event” Jey Uso. The match was the semi-final bout in the King of the Ring tournament.
It was an explosive match right from the opening bell, as both friends set aside their personal relationship for a huge opportunity ahead of them. The duo went back and forth, delivering a captivating match that led to the fans chanting ‘This is Awesome chants.’ As the dust settled, it was a combination of Cody Cutter and Cross Rhodes to seal the deal for Rhodes, who will now head to face Randy Orton in the finals of the King of the Ring tournament.
Worst Match
It is a difficult choice for this category for this week’s WWE RAW. Nevertheless, we’ll go with Becky Lynch and Bayley for the WWE Intercontinental title. It was primarily due to Lyra Valkyria spoiling Bayley‘s almost-win when she caused a DQ for attacking Becky Lynch.
Noteworthy Moments
A major highlight of the night was Seth Rollins‘ opening address on WWE RAW. He asked the crowd who they wanted to see, and they chanted for CM Punk and Roman Reigns. One more highlight of the night was Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez engaging in a brawl. Roxanne Perez attempted to help Rodriguez, but Ripley took her down. This gave the Big Latina the opening to put Ripley through a table. They will now face each other in a Street Fight at Night of Champions.
Another noteworthy moment was Adam Pearce informing AJ Styles that his WWE Intercontinental title match against Dominik Mysterio was cancelled. This came after Pearce informed him that he was not medically cleared to compete.
