WWE RAW presented its April 7th, 2025 edition of the show from the Target Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The show saw some exciting matches take place for the Philly audience and further shaped the WrestleMania 41 card with more matches.

Moreover, the main event segment of the night saw Seth Rollins in a tense confrontation with Paul Heyman. As the night came to a close, Rollins managed to get The Wiseman into now owing a favor, which could turn the tides in his favor for WrestleMania this year.

Best Match
The best match of the night was the opening contest. It saw Lyra Valkyria defending her WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship against the veteran Bayley. The new blood went up against the pioneer and produced an stellar showdown for audience in Philidelphia.
Moreover, the match was so good that the fans erupted in a ‘This is Awesome’ chant amidst the bout. In the end, Bayley almost made Valkyria tap out as she had her trapped in the Boston Crab lock. However, the champion escaped and used a roll-up to win the match and retain her title while also being endorsed by the challenger at the end.
Worst Match
The New Day vs. The War Raiders was a lackluster bout, and the audience was mostly silent throughout the entire match. Moreover, the DQ ending did not do any favors to the bout. However, New Day made a statement by viciously attacking Erik and Ivar with a steel chair and leaving them decimated.
Noteworthy Moments
The prime highlight of WWE RAW this week came towards the end of the show. Paul Heyman and Seth Rollins met inside the squared circle as The Visionary played mind games with the Wiseman. He explained how Roman Reigns and CM Punk only used Heyman for their own good. Moreover, things escalated to the point of Rollins putting his hands on Heyman until CM Punk arrived to brawl with his heated rival. However, Rollins stomped his head to the mat and was about to do the same to Paul Heyman, but stopped and told him that Heyman now owed him a favor.
Another major moment came at the very start of the WWE RAW show. General Manager Adam Pearce summoned IYO Sky, Bianca Belair, and Rhea Ripley to the ring. He put an end to their ongoing tensions by booking a triple threat match between them for the WWE Women’s World title at WrestleMania 41.
Another interesting highlight of WWE RAW this week was Jey Uso’s passionate promo that he cut against World Heavyweight Champion Gunther. Uso spoke from the heart and admitted that he was afraid of Gunther. But witnessing his brother being beaten down by him and his family interactions, he vowed to win the World title at WrestleMania 41 and asked the lord to forgive him for the man he is about to become.
The last noteworthy moment was when Rey Mysterio wanted revenge on El Grande Americano for using underhanded tactics in his match against LWO. Adam Pearce booked a match between the two luchadors for WrestleMania 41.
Holy Sh!@ Moments
The only Holy Sh!@ Moment of the night was Bron Breakker’s explosive spear to Carlito. This came after Penta defeated Dominik Mysterio, and Carlito attacked him after the match. Breakker arrived and delivered a jaw-dropping flying spear to Carlito outside the ring. He did the same to Dominik Mysterio and Penta, but was attacked by Finn Balor in the end, who stood tall.
Lowlights
The match between LWO, El Grande Americano, and Creed Brothers was nothing special. The fan reactions were not very loud. However, the only noteworthy moment in the match was when El Grande loaded his mask with something to use to his advantage and picked up his team’s win.
What’s in store for WWE RAW next week
WWE RAW will take place from the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California, and will be the final show before WrestleMania 41. It will feature the return of Roman Reigns without his Wiseman Paul Heyman. Also, only one match was announced that will see AJ Styles compete against Karrion Kross in a one-on-one match.
