Hulk Hogan passed away due to a cardiac arrest last week. Yet, his body has not been cremated, and the reason why has been revealed by his wife, Sky Daily.
In a post on Instagram, Hogan’s wife revealed that it was his choice to be cremated. However, the family has decided not to move forward until all medical questions are answered. Once that is done, they will fulfill his final wish.

“Terry chose cremation, knowing this physical life is temporary and his heavenly body eternal,” she wrote in the post. “He has not yet been cremated, as our family is making sure every question about his medical care is answered first. Once we have that peace of mind, we will honor his wish and fulfill it with love and respect.”
Furthermore, Sky also addressed the rumors circulating online and requested that they have patience while the family dealt with the highly sensitive and personal situation.
“There are heartbreakingly misleading media stories created by faceless AI accounts. Or by people not close enough to truly know what was happening,” she said. “Please be patient and know this: he was deeply loved. Well cared for. And surrounded by that love until his very last moment”, she added.
Hulk Hogan’s memorial service was held on Tuesday, August 5, at the Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Florida. Many of Hogan’s wrestling peers attended, including Triple H, Adam Copeland, Shane McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, and even former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. Hogan’s family and loved ones also attended the service.
In the same post, Sky also revealed that the service took place at the same church where she and Hulk Hogan got married and baptized.
“Yesterday’s celebration of life was one of the most beautiful and moving days I have ever experienced. In the same church where we were married and baptized together, we gathered with family, friends, and loved ones to honor a life that touched millions,” Hogan’s wife said.
