We are just hours away from WWE’s latest premium live event. That is why it is a perfect time for some bold WWE Night of Champions predictions.
Saturday’s card will take place in Saudi Arabia and have a special start time of 1:00 PM ET. The event features several major matchups, including CM Punk looking to derail John Cena’s WWE title reign. Long-time friends Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton facing off to be the 2025 King of the Ring. And a fascinating Queen of the Ring final pitting Jade Cargill versus future Hall of Famer Asuka.
With all of that in mind, let’s make some predictions for who will leave Night of Champions with a win.
Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton (King of the Ring Final)

Fans have been wanting to see Rhodes and Orton go toe-to-toe ever since the former became a top star following his return three years ago. The only knock on this dream match is that we only get a few days to build towards it. What also makes this matchup unusual is that neither needs to win King of the Ring.
Both are made men, and the win is more about getting a second crack at Cena than getting the crown. Orton is unlikely to get a rematch with his long-time rival. And Rhodes regaining the belt, or losing again to the champ at SummerSlam, seems to early in this year-long retirement story. We predict controversy, and the first time a King of the Ring does not get crowned at the end of the tourney.
Prediction: Outside interference causes a disqualification
Jacob Fatu vs. Solo Sikoa (US Title Match)

Jacob Fatu is going to lose his US title on Saturday afternoon. Not because he isn’t better than Solo Sikoa, but this all feels like a major setup to reveal another new member of Sikoa’s crew. That will likely be another relative in Hikuleo. He was signed by the company and even made his debut on Main Event two weeks ago. Expect him to arrive and be revealed as Sikoa’s new enforcer and cost Fatu his belt.
Prediction: Sikoa wins
Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodriguez (Street Fight)

The match that could steal the show at Night of Champions is the street fight between Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez. The two women had a great feud in NXT and have great chemistry. Furthermore, they are good friends behind the scenes. Expect this one to be very physical and wild. However, after Rodriguez put Ripley threw a table this week on WWE Raw, look for the multi-time world champ to get revenge this weekend.
Prediction: Ripley wins
Sami Zayn vs. Karrion Kross

In a late edition, Sami Zayn and Karrion Kross will take their ongoing feud into the ring for a match at Night of Champions. Kross’ popularity has grown despite few actual matches over the last eight months. The result will be one to watch, especially with rumors that Kross’ contract is set to expire soon.
If he scores a win over the fan-favorite, it likely means he has re-signed, and he may get a long-overdue push. However, if Zayn is victorious, it is bad news for Kross’ future in the company.
Prediction: Zayn wins
Jade Cargill vs. Asuka (Queen of the Ring Final)

Recent rumors have suggested Cargill is being lined up for a big push this summer. Night of Champions feels like the first big moment in that run to the top. Cargill gets fantastic reactions from fans and has improved as a performer. She is quickly becoming one of the most complete talents on the roster.
The only reason the SmackDown star isn’t a lock to win is because the idea of Asuka facing Iyo Sky at SummerSlam is a legitimate money fight. That said, expect the Cargill hot streak to continue on Saturday.
Prediction: Cargill wins
John Cena vs. CM Punk

While it may be the most highly anticipated match at Night of Champions, Punk vs. Cena is the most predictable. After winning the WWE title at WrestleMania 41, Cena is not going to lose the belt after just a few months. It isn’t a guarantee that he holds it all the way to December, but a June defeat in Saudi is a serious longshot.
Furthermore, whenever the 17-time champ does drop the gold, it will be to a performer who needs the win to add to their resume. Punk is an all-timer, and a victory here is not necessary. It should be a fun match, but Cena will retain.
Prediction: Cena wins
