The company has been busy lately, and WWE teases the arrival of new signings on SmackDown.

It seems like we’ve seen signings happening on a regular basis for WWE. There are some that have been signed, sealed and delivered-and we have seen their debuts. Names like Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer come to mind. There are others on the list to, of course. The company is keeping some names, if you want to count re-signings and extensions. Fans have wished for others, but Tony Khan is thus far keeping the Lucha Bros hostage in AEW.

Motor City Is Coming

However, fans could not miss the teaser on the latest edition of SmackDown. In the midst of the go-home show heading into Bad Blood, we got a heavily car-themed teaser. Sure, WWE could be reviving that oddly named former premium live event, right? After all, Bad Blood was also at one point a mothballed show name. So the teaser was for that, right?

No, it was not. The astute observers made the connection, but PWInsider has since confirmed the not so hidden meaning of the teaser. As was reported in September, the Motor City Machine Guns are WWE bound. The initial expectation upon their signing? A brief stint in NXT. The thinking was that Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley were going to work a bit in the junior brand, likely making a big debut on the CW debut for NXT. That debut show has come and gone, and there was no MCMG debut.

And then there was WWE, teasing us with that Friday vignette. With that, we basically know that the Motor City Machine Guns will head to SmackDown soon enough. Would they be the ones to take the tag team gold off of the Bloodline? I mean, that is one way to make a stunning debut or instant impact, right? Stay tuned, but this should be the WWE arrival of one great tag team and they are headed to SmackDown.
