Considering what he’s accomplished in a short time, it’s no shock that WWE officials expect big things from Oba Femi.
Femi currently holds the North American Championship. On his way to capturing his first singles title in NXT, he has had fan support. He also has support from WWE officials, not just those within NXT. Honestly, with or without the NXT North American Championship, it is not hard to see big things from Oba Femi. The big Nigerian Superstar has a lot working for him.

While the Vince McMahon days of Superstars having to have a prototypical look are long gone…Femi has “it”. He stands an imposing 6’4, billed as over 300 pounds, and looks quite intimidating. Simply put, he looks like a fearsome competitor, and he IS a fearsome competitor. And, now holding gold, he’s seemingly on a fast track.

He used that to cash in on Dragon Lee and he’s held the North American title ever since.

One glance at him, one moment understanding what he’s accomplished in such a short span? So, it’s not hard to imagine why.
