- Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn of The Unholy Union defeated Iyo Sky & Kairi Sane of Damage CTRL to become the #1 Contenders for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. They will challenge Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill for the tag team titles this week. With the title on the line, The Unholy Union could continue their success path by dethroning Belair and Cargill to regain the title
- After qualifying in the Intercontinental Championship #1 Contenders tournament, Jey Uso, Pete Dunne, Braun Strowman and Ilja Dragunov will be squaring off in a fatal 4-way match in the tournament finals this week. There is already a heated storyline going on between Jey Uso and the champion Breakker, and Ilja has unfinished business with the champ. Whoever wins, has to somehow defeat Bron Breakker.
- Sami Zayn made his return and confronted “The Ring General” Gunther, challenging him for the World Heavyweight Championship. However, Gunther declined the challenge saying that Sami is not ready for the title. Although being declined, Sami said that he would get his title shot, no matter what. How will Sami get his world title shot against Gunther?Â
