WWE has some big plans for the year 2025 that will take their Premium Live Events to a much higher level than 2024. One of those shows is the Elimination Chamber PLE. The event is set to take place on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada, with the venue already smashing an all-time record that was set by an iconic WrestleMania.

The Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event has been taken to different heights. The grandeur of the show can be measured by its production in countries like Saudi Arabia and last year’s PLE. It took place in Perth, Australia, and was easily a WrestleMania experience for the Down Under fans.

The show is next headed to Canada in 2025 in Rogers Centre. The city has been the home to many historical WWE events, including WrestleMania. However, the interesting part is that ticket sales for the 2025 show have surpassed an all-time gate record set by an iconic WrestleMania event.

Which all-time gate record has been beaten by 2025 WWE Elimination Chamber?

As per the latest report by Wrestle Tix, WWE Elimination Chamber has sold over 23,000 tickets. This has been for a setup of 29,670. In doing so, the upcoming PLE has smashed Canada’s all-time gate record for the venue. This record was held by WrestleMania 18, which hosted the monumental “Icon vs Icon” match between The Rock and Hulk Hogan.

Furthermore, Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Radio gave his perspective. He acknowledged the record set by WrestleMania 18 being broken. Meltzer also speculated the final attendance record would be close to 30,000. He claimed that WWE did not expect a sellout show and anything above 25,000 in attendance was considered a success.

“It has already broken the all-time Canadian gate record. Which was set by the Hogan and Rock match at the 2002 WrestleMania. “WWE probably wasn’t expecting a sellout when they booked it, but anything over 25,000 is considered a huge success,” Meltzer revealed. “And they’ll easily pass that.”

With Toronto’s excitement clearly evident with the ticket sales, WWE Elimination Chamber PLE can be expected to be nothing short of a blockbuster show.
