WWE legend Kofi Kingston claims that he was once hit so hard with a chair by a current member of the Wyatt Sick6 that he seriously wanted to cry.
There is no more experienced member of the WWE roster than 23-time WWE title holder Kofi Kingston. For 17 years, he has been a reliable member of the roster that has been a part of nearly every single match possible. And in that time he has also faced nearly every performer to work for the company.

To last that long you need to be pretty tough. However, current Wyatt Sick6 member Erick Rowan once tested Kofi Kingston’s intestinal fortitude like no one else ever has during a gauntlet match a few years ago.

“I got hit in the back with a chair by Erick Rowan. I was in the middle of a Gauntlet Match, not even midway through. He slapped me in the back with that chair so hard,” Kingston said in a Monday interview with Draft Kings. “That was the most pain that I’ve felt in a ring. I couldn’t believe how hard he hit me with that chair.
“I thought like, ‘Hey, maybe this might be the time that it’s okay to cry. Maybe I should give these people a moment and humanize myself and let them see me cry.’ Then, I looked around, and I said, ‘Nah, let me just go ahead and win this Gauntlet Match.’ I didn’t win, but I didn’t cry.”
Rowan is 6-foot-8 and over 300 pounds. It’s easy for a man of that size not to realize their own strength. Clearly, on that night the Wyatt Family alum did not have a full grasp of how hard he could swing a chair.
