The Undertaker always stayed in character throughout his career. Even when he opened up and showed off his personality, beginning with his American Badass days, we only saw the parts of his life behind the curtain that the WWE machine wanted us to see.
These days now that the star is in retirement, he is letting the real thoughts, feelings, and the perspective of the man behind “The Dead Man,” Mark Calaway, out of the funeral parlor – and this decision seems to be straining long friendships.

Like his 1991 Survivor Series opponent Hulk Hogan, Calaway endorsed Donald Trump for President in the recent election. He even had the president-elect on his podcast Six Feet Under, which didn’t sit well with some of his peers he has stood across from in a ring.
Two of them were Mick Foley and Dave Bautista both of whom endorsed Kamala Harris and laid into Trump scathingly on social media. They all may disagree, but Taker is not bitter and still considers the two men friends. He explained his position when he appeared on the Fox News show Gutfeld!
The Undertaker still ‘love’ Dave Bautista despite political divide
“I don’t have any angst toward Dave Bautista,” Undertaker said. “I haven’t seen him, but he’s still a good friend of mine, and if I saw him, I would give him a big hug. Mick Foley too. I don’t care what your politics are. You’re wrong. But I still love you, and I’m gonna say hello, and I’m gonna give you a hug whether you want it or not when I see you.”
He then added he wants to see more decorum when conversations turn to a heated topic. “I think people, if they would adopt that a little bit more and not get so much vitriol and so hate over politics, it’s ridiculous.”
When The Animal took his shots at Trump, he may have had ridiculousness in mind. He appeared in a video shared by Jimmy Kimmel Live’s Instagram poking fun at Trump’s persona, manhood, and an excessive use of makeup.
“Fellas, we gotta talk,” Bautista explained. “A lot of men seem to think that Donald Trump is some kind of tough guy. He’s not, I mean, look at him, he wears more make-up than Dolly Parton. He whines like a baby. The guy is afraid of birds.”
“Donald Trump had his daddy pay a doctor to say his little feet hurt, so he could dodge the draft. Look at that gut. It’s like a garbage bag full of buttermilk,” The actor added, “He’s afraid that real American men will find out that he’s a weak, tubby, toddler. What’s wrong, tough guy? Did someone grab you by the pussy? Whiny little bitch.”
In a video message uploaded to YouTube, Foley encouraged his followers to vote for Harris and resisted the urge to call Trump a “douchebag” while saying the Pres. is one. Foley also called him a con man and said “Enough was enough eight years ago.”
