The Undertaker Forced Legend Out Of WWE LFG Role To Get His Wife Michelle McCool A Job?

A wild new report suggests WWE icon the Undertaker is a huge reason why a wrestling legend lost their coaching job on WWE’s new reality series LFG.

WWE has housed many of the greatest wrestlers of all-time. However, the company probably does not get enough credit for how many greats they developed internally. Sure, they signed a ton of talents that became stars, but they have had just as many that learned their craft under the guidance of WWE coaches.

Many WWE stars have come out of Ohio Valley Wrestling, NXT, and the company’s popular reality series Tough Enough. This year, WWE has returned to those reality TV development roots with the new A&E show LFG. The new show also has a fantastic assemblage of coaches that includes “The Phenom” the Undertaker.

However, a new report claims that “The Deadman” inadvertently forced out one of the coaches from a role in season 2 to get his wife Michelle McCool a job.

The Undertaker cost Mickie James her LFG coaching job?

Reports emerged this week that WWE women’s division legend Mickie James would not be returning for season 2 of the show. And that, of all people, Michelle McCool would be replacing her. It had many WWE fans wondering if the Undertaker used his internal stroke to bring his wife in for the next season. Well, a new report confirmed that is exactly what happened.

Fightful Select revealed after the switch news broke that producers for LFG asked if the Undertaker would return for season 2. His name would certainly help ratings for the series. The WWE Hall-of-Famer was reportedly open to the idea, but under one condition. His wife Michelle McCool needed to be brought in.

It seems the producers did not want to have a fifth coach alongside ‘Taker, James, Booker T, and Bubba Ray Dudley, so the current TNA Wrestling employee James was the odd coach out. And her contract was not renewed for season 2.
