There have been several generations of female wrestlers, with each taking their own name. For Sunny (real name Tammy Sytch), many argue she started the divas revolution in WWE. And, that might be true as she was seen as a major star and sex symbol. Her time at the top did not last long. She was let go by WWE and spent time in ECW and WCW. From all accounts, she was dealing with a heavy drug problem.

She continued to make occasional wrestling appearances, although she was well past her prime. During that time, she was in trouble with the law countless times. Typically, it involved drinking and assault. She even spent a good amount of time behind bars. She was sentenced last year to 17 years in prison for her role in a car crash that led to a fatality.

Sytch, who is diabetic, told  TMZ she diagnosed with a blood clot and requires blood-thinners. Although, she is indicating the Lowell Correctional Institute in Marion County, in Florida, are not helping. “All that’s been going through my mind for the past three weeks is, oh my God,” aid Sytch. “I’m going to follow in [my ex-husband’s] footsteps and die of a blood clot just like he did because I can’t get medical treatment at this prison. It’s pretty bad.”

The comment from the WWE Hall of Famer is about Chris Candido. They two were together forever and he also suffered with a drug problem. He got clean, but tragically passed away after an injury during a TNA show. He underwent surgery and days later died from a blood-clot. That was back in 2005 and you cannot imagine Sytch’s latest statements carrying over well. So, is Tammy Sytch (Sunny) making a point about the blood clot or looking for attention and sympathy?
