Steve Austin Helped Seth Rollins And Becky Lynch Have A Baby? ‘The Visionary’ Reveals Funny Story

WWE superstar Seth Rollins recently shared how wrestling legend “Stone Cold” Steve Austin played a role in the conception of his daughter.

On December 4, 2020, Rollins and Becky Lynch welcomed their daughter, Roux. Shortly after her birth, they introduced her to the world and shared the news with their fans. To understand the connection between Austin and this life-changing moment, we have to go back to March 2020.

WWE’s first show back after the COVID-19 shutdown was an episode of Monday Night Raw that just so happened to fall on March 16 — also known as 3:16 Day. A nod to Austin’s famous catchphrase. The annual tradition usually includes Austin’s beer celebrations in the ring, and on that night, Lynch, then the Raw Women’s Champion, joined him for a post-show toast.

Lynch was one of the biggest stars in WWE at the time, having held the title for almost a year. But shortly after the segment with Austin, she made a career-changing decision.

Seth Rollins Reveals How Austin Influenced Becky Lynch’s Motherhood Decision

Appearing on Good Morning Football, Rollins revealed that the beer bash with Austin led Lynch to take a step back from wrestling.

“Stone Cold is the reason I have a daughter. Flashback to March 2020 — everybody knows COVID shut down the world. It was the first WWE show post-COVID shutdown: 3:16 RAW.”

“It’s customary for somebody to drink with Stone Cold in the ring, and at the time, the hottest thing in professional wrestling was my lovely, incredible wife, The Man Becky Lynch. She happened to break open 1, 2, 3, 4 cold ones with Stone Cold at the end of RAW. That night, she was like, ‘I think it’s time I take some time off to have a baby.’”

Two months later, Lynch lost the Raw Women’s Championship and announced her pregnancy.
