He’s been working his tail off for years now, and now we hear Sami Zayn is undergoing treatment for several injuries.

Sami Zayn has been a busy Superstar. He had two of the most memorable WrestleMania moments lately. A year ago in Hollywood, he and Kevin Owens won the WWE tag team titles, taking a chunk out of the Bloodline. Earlier this year, Zayn took down the historic Intercontinental Championship reign of Gunther. He’s worked around the world, anywhere and everywhere, but that grind takes a toll on just about anyone. Zayn is no different.
He recently lost a 2 out of 3 falls Intercontinental Championship rematch to new champion Bron Breakker. On the heels of that loss, it seems that Sami might need a bit of downtime. A clinic in Mexico, Rejuvastem, shared a post on their social media account that WWE Superstar Sami Zayn had come down to their clinic for treatments. He wasn’t the only WWE Superstar there either-in their post, he was seen shaking hands with the injured Ivar.

As the clinic put it, he is there to address a career’s worth of nagging injuries. We know that Zayn has previously missed time for shoulder issues that required surgery. There’s no word on what issues Sami is there to get addressed, but it’s an interesting place to go. One thing they appear to be known for is cutting edge stem cell treatments, which can do wonders. Professional athletes have been taking advantage of therapies such as those for as long as they’ve been able to. Since there hadn’t been any word on Zayn missing time for injuries, we don’t know if this trip is a quick tuneup or something more involved. Hopefully Zayn undergoing any treatments is a minor thing. So, will Sami Zayn return even better than before after undergoing treatment?
