New Surprising Rumors Emerge On Vince McMahon Creating Wrestling Company To Be Competitor To WWE

It seems there have been rumblings around the entertainment business Vince McMahon could be targeting the creation of a new wrestling company and may already have a major network locked in for the deal.

Vince McMahon’s fall from grace has been one of the biggest stories in professional wrestling history. The man who founded WWF turned a regional wrestling company into a global brand over the last 40 years. He reigned over the business with an iron fist for decades. However, his extracurricular activities toppled his run at the top.

In 2022 he resigned after reports emerged of hush money payments to former WWE employees he either had sexual relationships with or was accused of sexually assaulting. However, a year later he forced his way back into the company and oversaw a merger with UFC under the newly formed TKO Group Holdings banner.

However, a new lawsuit in 2023 that included some heinous accusations led to a second resignation and his time with the company being ended once and for all. Since then there have been many reports about what the workholic could do next. The speculation was that he might create a new company far removed from wrestling.

But an interesting new report suggests a return to the industry he took to new heights could be what the 79-year-old is plotting.

On a new edition of Eric Bischoff’s “83 Weeks” podcast, the WWE Hall-of-Famer and co-host Conrad Thompson spoke about some interesting rumors that have been going around lately. Some in the entertainment business have suggested Vince McMahon has been in conversations to hire cameramen with wrestling experience to work for a new production. Furthermore, he has been cultivating former WWE executives to work with him on his new project.

However, the most fascinating nugget of information from Thompson was speculation that he could be working with FOX on the project. That is why some believe he made a surprise appearance at this year’s Super Bowl with his son Shane McMahon. Which was oddly enough aired and produced by FOX.

Bischoff confirmed he had heard similar rumors. However, both had their doubts if it was a realistic possibility. However, the former WCW boss admitted McMahon is a businessman at heart. He will not fade away into a quiet life.

FOX getting involved in wrestling again after having WWE Smackdown on the network for the last few years didn’t make sense to him. But he suggested if FOX is a part owner of the company and has a lot to gain financially then it makes the scenario far more realistic.
