Roman Reigns Suggests Leaving WWE For Hollywood Could Be Sooner Than Fans Expect

Roman Reigns has been the cornerstone of WWE for more than a decade, but it seems like that run may not last much longer.

The Tribal Chief experienced a major resurgence as a WWE superstar in 2020 when he turned heel during the pandemic. This marked the beginning of his ascension to become one of the greatest WWE stars of all time. Over the last few years, he has evolved into a historically profitable draw and joined the record books during his impressive 1,316-day run as WWE Champion.

Yet, it seems the man who will turn 40 next month is already targeting the finish line of his WWE career. In a new interview with Vanity Fair’s Tom Kludt, Roman Reigns revealed that his current WWE deal will expire in 2026. And once that comes, he is not planning on being an active member of the roster much longer.

Roman Reigns could retire within next few years

“After I finish the contract that I’m in, we probably got another year or two max. Then it’s time to take on a less physical form of entertainment,” Reigns said.

His current contract timeline will allegedly see it expire after WrestleMania 42, which will take place on April 11 and 12 at the Mercedes Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. The WWE legend has already dabbled a bit in acting, just like his cousin, The Rock. With “The Final Boss” being one of the most powerful men in Hollywood as well, he could definitely help his relative set up a successful career in film and television as well.

The former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion has a huge match coming up this Saturday. He will main event his 11th WrestleMania this year in Las Vegas. The OTC will battle CM Punk and Seth Rollins in a triple-threat match this weekend.
