Some interesting views numbers from Survivor Series 2024 point to a potential Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk match being a massive money fight for WWE.
On Saturday night, WWE presented its annual November spectacular that is Survivor Series. While the card had several major matchups, the one everyone was turning in for was the 2024 edition of the men’s WarGames match. This year’s clash featured a Bloodline vs. Bloodline clash.
However, the matchup also had some interesting additions from outside the wrestling family. With Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline was the wrecking machine, Bronson Reed. On the flip side, Roman Reigns and his OG Bloodline had the help of one of the original Paul Heyman guys, none other than CM Punk.
The friction between Punk and Reigns, two active legends of the industry, was a highlight before and during Saturday’s match. And it seems that WWE fans also viewed content between the two superstars in massive numbers over the weekend.

“Clips across official WWE social media platforms involving Roman Reigns and CM Punk during Survivor Series 2024 last night have amassed an estimated 204,000,000 views in its first 24 hours.” Wrestle Ops reported on Sunday. “A single Instagram Reel that saw Reigns stopping Punk from entering WarGames has passed 76M views as of press time. An estimated new high for a 24-hour spanned social media reach.”
Those are massive numbers and seem to guarantee a match between Punk and Reigns is all but a guarantee at some point in the next year. Especially since Punk’s appearance in the match was contingent on wiseman Paul Heyman owing him a big favor in the future.
As of now, most rumors suggest Roman Reigns will face Solo Sikoa and CM Punk will battle Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 41 in April.
