A WWE Hall of Famer rumored to appear at WrestleMania 41 revealed this week that is impossible.
WWE is set to present the grand spectacle of professional wrestling next weekend, WrestleMania 41. The event has already announced an array of top stars like John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, CM Punk, Roman Reigns, and many others. Moreover, there have been legendary names like the Bella Twins and Stone Cold Steve Austin, who are confirmed for Mania week.
But unfortunately, a wrestling icon that has been rumored for the mega-event revealed this week that his current agreement with AEW won’t allow him to appear.
Ric Flair won’t be at WrestleMania 41
During a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, 16-time World Champion Ric Flair revealed that he would miss WrestleMania 41.
“I work for another company. I’m sure I would be more than welcome. If I wasn’t working with Tony [Khan], I would absolutely be there. They couldn’t keep me out of the building,” he said.
While Flair will not be appearing at WrestleMania this year, he has been mentioned in the ongoing feud between Cena and Rhodes. Cena turned heel at the end of the 2025 WWE Elimination Chamber PLE. Since then, he has been launching verbal bombs on the WWE Universe for treating him abusively for twenty-plus years in the company.
Cena claims he will ruin wrestling for everyone. And that he will erase Ric Flair’s legacy to cement his own as the record-breaking 17-time World Champion.
