In a recent interview, former WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley revealed she was heartbroken over being removed from Judgement Day.
The Bloodline has garnered a huge amount of attention over the last couple of years. The faction has been the anchor of Smackdown content and will go down as one of the most storied factions in professional wrestling history. However, over on Raw Judgement Day has also been putting together some strong long-term storytelling.

At this year’s SummerSlam the heel faction underwent a major change when both Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest were betrayed and tossed out of the group. It was a great piece of storytelling and was an understandable decision since both Ripley and Priest had become popular with fans. However, it seems the “Eradicator” felt a deep sadness about her time in the group coming to an end.
Rhea Ripley cried after being removed from Judgement Day
“The Judgment Day was really family to me. It really was. It has helped my career so much more than I could actually put into words,” Ripley said in a chat with “The Wrestling Classic” podcast. “That was when I started opening up and feeling comfortable going out there and being in front of the crowd. I had the boys and could fall back on them. It was really emotional for me.
“I saw something come out about Judgment Day members, a specific one crying backstage after everything. That was me. I was upset. The last two and a half years of my life have changed. I can’t go back to that. They were my boys and my family. It was really sad,” she added.
Despite her disappointment, Ripley admitted she is having a lot of fun on the opposite side of Judgement Day. And there is a chance for even bigger moments in her future as part of a duo with Priest.
