It seems that the feud between Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan may continue after the conclusion of their match at WWE Bad Blood was botched.

On Saturday night, WWE returned to Peacock for their latest premium live event, Bad Blood. The event from Atlanta, Georgia saw the continuation of several storylines and ended others. Definitive conclusions came to the feuds between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre, and Nia Jax and Baley. However, that didn’t happen in the bout between Ripley and Morgan.

The match this weekend was highly entertaining. And had the fun element of Dominick Mysterio hanging high above the crowd in a shark cage. Late in the match, “Dirty Dom” was able to unlock the cage, accidentally fell out of it, and was left hanging from the cage like a pinata.

Rhea Ripley used the opportunity to hammer her former love interest with a kendo stick. While Morgan lay badly hurt in the ring. When she was done beating the Judgement Day member she returned to the ring but was met by a returning Raquel Rodriguez who attacked the former Women’s Champion.

The ring bell quickly sounded and the match seemed to end in a disqualification. However, Rodriguez threw Morgan on top of Ripley as if to set up a pin despite the match being over. It was an awkward moment in a fun finish to the match. Well, it seems things did not go according to plan on Saturday night.

Fightful reported after the event that Liv Morgan was meant to get a clean pin on Rhea Ripley. Bringing a definitive end to their rivalry. However, the referee ended up seeing Rodriguez in the midst of her attack and an audible had to be called to rule the match as a disqualification.

Clearly, there was a miscommunication between the referee and Rodriguez and her attack did not happen when his back was turned as planned. It now seems to leave the door open to Morgan and Ripley’s feud continuing longer than expected. It will be interesting to see how WWE handles things on Monday’s edition of Raw.
