WWE superstar Rhea Ripley claims that for all the support fans give female wrestlers, they do just as much and more to always tear them down.
Ripley is not just one of the biggest female stars on the WWE roster. She is one of the brand’s most popular talents in general. She has broken the mold for what a woman in the company can look like. And how they perform in the ring. The Aussie is one of several talents taking the division to new levels. However, she believes it is despite many in the WWE fan base.
“Women’s wrestling fan: ‘Women deserve better,’ she wrote in a post on X. “(Same breath), ‘she’s sleeping with her boss, that’s why she’s where she is,’ ‘She should retire,’ ‘She doesn’t deserve it,’ ‘She’s handed everything and never worked for anything.’ ‘I hope she gets injured.’
“YOU guys are the real reason it’s so difficult to be taken seriously as a women’s wrestler,” she added. “If YOU put as much effort into your own miserable lives as you put into degrading successful women, then maybe you would accomplish something yourself.”
The former WWE women’s world champion has remained busy since coming up short in a triple-threat title match at WrestleMania 41, and she seems on a collision course for an upcoming one-on-one match with current champ Iyo Sky.
