R-Truth, AKA Ron Killings, Claims Feud With John Cena Is Far From Over

John Cena has made a lot of foes ever since he turned heel earlier this year. Most of those men he has faced in the ring are now in his rearview. However, the man now known as Ron Killings claims their rivalry isn’t close to finished.

In a recent interview with the Toronto Sun, the man formerly known as R-Truth spoke about Cena. The newly christened Killings made it clear that things were far from over between him and the 17-time WWE Champion. Because the wrestling icon betrayed a lot of people, including himself.

“Oh, it ain’t over. He got to turn him back into who he was,” Killings/Truth said. “He hurt people’s hearts. He betrayed people, dog. He betrayed you, me, us, them, everybody, man. So he’s taking me on that roller coaster just like he’s taking everybody else.

“I need John back. Not for me, but for my sanity,” he added. “For the sanity of R-Truth. So it ain’t over yet with him.”

R-Truth/Ron Killings had been presented as John Cena’s biggest fan for years. The duo even clashed on the May edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event. Following that, R-Truth was released, but was brought back a few weeks later after huge fan backlash.

He then debuted a new and aggressive character and adopted his real name, Ron Killings. This was a departure from his goofy and comedic gimmick seen for years.

Cena and Truth last clashed a week before Night of Champions on SmackDown. The match ended in DQ when the “Unseen 17” nailed him with the title as he was leaving the bout. This was their last altercation; however, Truth’s comments hint that their rivalry might have one more chapter on John Cena’s farewell tour in WWE.
