A former NXT Champion may have just dropped a hint that he could be making his official main roster debut on SmackDown tonight. And he may not be alone.
The first edition of Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania has gained legendary importance. However, with Paul “Triple H” Levesque helping to oversee the company, he has made it a point to give the same level of meaning to the first episode of SmackDown after the massive yearly event.
This week’s Raw was filled with some major surprises and included the return of Rusev. Well, it looks like SmackDown may have a debut or two tonight. On Friday, former NXT Tag Team Champion Axiom posted on X a picture of a television with the promo image of this evening’s episode of SmackDown. The post can be found below.
Does it guarantee he will make his official move to the main roster this Friday? No. But it seems highly likely. And it is possible he could be promoted alongside his teammate Nathan Frazer. The pair has had a long and impressive run on the gold-and-black brand. Furthermore, to the surprise of many, they were defeated for their belts but the new tag team of Hank and Tank at this past weekend’s Stand and Deliver premium live event.
There has been speculation for some time about the duo known as Fraxiom moving to either SmackDown or Raw. Their unexpected title loss seemed like the first piece of evidence that change could be coming. Now, Axiom has dropped what seems like another clear hint. All we can do now is see if he and or Frazer show up on tonight’s episode.
Returning star Aleister Black, AKA Malakai Black, is also rumored to make his comeback tonight after leaving AEW in March.
